Mike Ivey has been in the real estate financing business since graduating from The University of Georgia in 1986.
Mike, originally from Albany, Georgia, graduated with a B.B.A in Real Estate from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia where he currently serves on Terry's Emeritus Alumni Board. Mike has been a member of the Terry Board of Directors for many years and had the honor of heading up their Student of the Year Selection Committee in 2013.
Mike founded and has owned Capital City Mortgage since its inception back in 1991. Mike has lent hundreds of millions of dollars to thousands of families.
Mike has previously served on multiple commercial condominium association boards in Atlanta and also served as Chairman of the Board at The Center for Children and Young Adults back in 2001 after decades of volunteer work at that emergency bed facility.
Mike is an active real estate investor with holdings in 6 counties throughout the state of Georgia and is uniquely qualified regarding real estate investment financing.
Mike is active at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church where he has served as Lay Leader.
Mike resides in Sandy Springs, Georgia and is married to the former Jennifer Maxwell from Thomasville, Georgia. Mike and Jennifer have a son Sam and a daughter Caroline, both of whom attend The Westminster Schools.
